Most cats will not tolerate grooming without some level of sedation. Choose which of the following options is appropriate for your cat (check all that apply). Should your need to be recommend running a basic blood screen on your cat before anesthesia to test for anemia, protein level, kidney and liver function, and blood sugar. A physical exam will be performed and test results will be immediately available before anesthesia and surgery on your pet. This testing is REQUIRED for cats 7 years and older. It is OPTIONAL if under 7 and apparently healthy. A recent blood panel may be acceptable. The cost starts at $77.50. Any additional cost will be brought to your attention before proceeding, if not already approved by you for today’s treatment plan.**We ask that all cats fast overnight in case sedation is required. Pick up food after midnight the night before the groom, but access to water is okay.
