This information will help us ensure the best experience for you and your cat during their stay here. Please note this is not a reservation form and you will still need to contact Cat Hospital of Metairie directly to book your boarding reservation.

Individual PLAYTIME sessions, of about 15 minutes, are available for an additional fee ($6/session). This may be highly interactive play, brushing, or solitary exercise in a private room. (Some cats may be playful at home but reluctant to play at the clinic, so sometimes the opportunity to stretch their legs is all they want.) *

You are welcome to bring a reasonable supply of your cat's food from home. If we do not carry your cat's food, or if your cat is not interested in their usual food, we will attempt to feed a suitable alternative. *

MEDICATIONS: list DOSE to give, HOW OFTEN to give, and WHEN NEXT DUE. There is a medication administration fee of $6/night.

Your cat MUST be up-to-date on rabies and FVRCP vaccinations and MUST have had a physical examination by a veterinarian within the past year. If fleas are found on your cat, they will be treated at the discretion of the veterinary staff. *

“In case of illness or injury, I give my consent for the veterinarians of Cat Hospital of Metairie to provide medical treatment for my cat(s) while they are being boarded. I am responsible for any charges incurred related to such veterinary care. For example, some cats do not eat well while boarding and may be given an appetite stimulant medication and/or be syringe fed to ensure their health.” ** “I also understand that stress-related illness, such as an upper respiratory infection or cystitis, may occur in some cats during or after boarding, and that my cat will be in a facility where ill cats with contagious disease are frequently present, and I will not hold Cat Hospital responsible for any illness presumed resultant from boarding.” ** “I understand that Cat Hospital of Metairie is not a 24-hour clinic and there is not someone present in the building at all times.” ** Please ask to speak with the veterinarian if you have specific concerns.
