Appointment Policy
To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time and to dedicate as much time to your cat as needed.
Patient Arrival Policy
All cats must be presented in an appropriate carrier for the safety of your pet, you, our staff, and the other cats in the hospital.
Drop-off Appointments For your convenience, drop-off appointments are available. A "drop off" means you bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him/her with us for a couple of hours. Usually we will ask you to drop off in the morning so our doctors can examine the patient in between appointments or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, she will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions.
Vaccinations
For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date.
Restraint
Our staff is highly trained to handle your cat during examination. While your cat may be calm and content at home, you may see a different personality in the hospital! Cats can be fearful of unfamiliar environments, though we do our best to make your cat comfortable at the hospital. Please refrain from attempting to pet or otherwise handle your cat while we perform our exam. This is for your safety and for our legal protection.
Payment Policy
We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash and personal checks. For first-time clients, we require that you show photo ID and provide payment in any form other than a personal check.
We also have payment plans available through Care Credit, which acts as a credit card toward medical expenses.
